We will not have our Gala Auction this year due to scheduling conflicts.  We however will have a monthly online auction on our website beginning in May 2008 and will also create a website store.  All funds raised will  benefit the Trufant Family Foundation Programs.

TRUFANT FAMILY FOUNDATION:
The Trufant Family Foundation is a foundation that not only direct and supports specific existing programs, it maintains its own programs as well. All of our activities focus on our mission statement, vision, and goals. We focus our energies in four major areas to help improve the quality of life for individuals, which include: Scholarships, Financial Aid, Children's Center's and Family Centers.

where all good accomplishments start.

MISSION: Our mission is to help make dreams come true for the youth and their family by giving financial assistance and making a personal connection with individuals and to programs that provide service to people who are most in need.

 

VISION: Our vision and purpose is to be an example of service to others in our giving of time, resources, knowledge and love for the betterment of children, adults, families and the community. We strive to make a difference in someone's life one person at a time and hope to share his or her success stories with others as a true example that all things are possible, and can be achieved, to those who believe.

 

 

GOALS:

1. Support existing programs by lending a hand to facilitate events and give direct assistance and resources to individuals, families, and other charitable organizations.
2. Support our own programs by giving assistance to fill any gaps after churches, individuals and organizations have done what they were able to.
3. Support and inspire individuals to realize their own potential by following and acting on their dreams and to remind all we come in contact with that with hard work and perseverance dreams do come true.

TRU(e) GIVING REMARKS FROM THE TRUFANT FAMILY AND THE TRUFANT FAMILY OF FRIENDS:

TIME:	Giving of our time by extending a hand to help others realize their own potential through volunteer service in our communities and schools. We volunteer because of a personal interest in the activity, the beneficiary, the feeling of being needed, and encourage and motivate others to volunteer.
RESOURCES:	Giving of our resources monetarily and/or in-kind to individuals who have little or no access to other assistance.
UNFORGETTABLE:	We challenge all who have had a door opened for them to not forget, but give back to their community by serving others.
EDUCATION:	Giving educational scholarships at the entry level of college and throughout that individual's college years with the goal of insuring that our vision of helping to improve the quality of life for others one person at a time is met.
